Tartufo nero estivo / Scorzone Tuber aestivum Vitt.
Period: 1 May - 31 August
Organoleptic characteristics: it has a black color with large protruding warts which make it typical. The gleba is hazel colored with numerous whitish veins, more or less subtle.
Finally, the scent is more delicate than other black truffles and the flavor is reminiscent of porcini mushrooms.
