La Bottega del Tartufo was born in 2014 in the hills of the upper Tiber on the initiative of the brothers Filippo and Luca Fumanti and their father Giuseppe.
Raised in the restaurant business, Luca and Filippo have decided to share their passion for one of the most noble and valuable ingredients of Italian cuisine: the truffle.
For 30 years his father Giuseppe has dedicated himself to the research and collection of truffles; the father's experience made the children of the truffle fall in love.
Later, it was natural for the two brothers to sense the potential of bringing people closer to the discovery and pleasure of the truffle.
Supported by Giuliano Martinelli, founder of Giuliano Tartufi and longtime friend, the boys begin this new adventure by opening the first single-brand store dedicated to products based on truffles and fresh truffles.
The first Bottega del Tartufo to open its doors is that of Perugia, from there it was the beginning of a winning formula.
In a short time La Bottega del Tartufo goes beyond Umbria opening in Siena, Arezzo and Lucca.
The network then expanded: shops were inaugurated Pisa, Genova, Bergamo, Como, Bologna, Rome, Venezia, Matera, Lecce, Taormina, Alghero, Merano, Grado, Verona, Praga, Firenze, Courmayer.
